The City of Sibenik has announced a project to set up the Center for new technology and entrepreneurship Troku to the European Regional Development Fund, Business Infrastructure Development, Operational Program “Competitiveness and Cohesion 2014-2020”.
The total amount of the project was HRK 27,722,245.10, of which The city of Šibenik realized HRK 20 million of EU grants.
The aim of the project is to develop an innovative entrepreneurial-business infrastructure to provide new and better services to stimulate, grow and develop small and medium-sized businesses and create new jobs in the Šibenik-Knin County.
Trokut center will be built in the site at Mandalina area and extends to two floors of a total area of 2084 m2 will be equipped with the latest technology. 28 functional units, flexible spaces, Fab lab workshops, offices, cabins and more are foreseen. The main project was made by the Architectural bureau Prostor from Šibenik.
The City of Šibenik partners in the project are Podi Šibenik d.o.o. and Business Incubator ZIP d.o.o. – Zagreb.
South East European Centre for Entrepreneurial Learning (SEECEL), Study of energy efficiency and renewable sources, the University of Zagreb – Šibenik, Polytechnic of Šibenik, Šibenik Technical school, Šibenik Industrial – Crafts School andPublic Institution Development agency of Šibenik-Knin County are collaborating on the project.
