EU projects

The City of Šibenik has applied for the project of establishing the Center for New Technologies and Entrepreneurship Trokut for the competition for the European Regional Development Fund, Business Infrastructure Development, Operational Program “Competitiveness and Cohesion 2014-2020.”

The total amount of the project is 27,722,245.10 HRK, of which the City of Šibenik received 20 million HRK in European Union grants.

The purpose of the project is the development of innovative entrepreneurial and business infrastructure for the delivery of new and better services in order to encourage, grow and develop small and medium enterprises and create new jobs in the Šibenik-Knin County.

Trokut was built in the area of ​​Mandalina, and spreads over two floors with a total area of ​​2084 m2 as it will be equipped with the most modern equipment. In the center itself, there are 28 functional units, flexible work spaces, Fab lab workshops, offices, video call cabins and more amenities are planned. The main project was made by the Architectural Bureau Prostor from Šibenik.

The partners of the City of Šibenik in the project are Podi Šibenik d.o.o. and Business Incubator ZIP d.o.o. based in Zagreb, while the collaborators on the project are the Regional Center for the Development of Entrepreneurial Competences for Southeast European Countries, Study of Energy Efficiency and Renewable Sources, University of Zagreb-Šibenik, Polytechnic of Šibenik, Technical School Šibenik, Industrial and Craft School Šibenik and Public Institution Šibenik-Knin County Development Agency.
